John you are so right. That is going to be a great combo. They look awesome so far, can't wait to see the final product. I can only hope my Fat Fifty cover comes out that good when it comes time to paint it.

poor skip has waited a long time for these ,i can blame my wife for making me build a front porch and then also blew my back out,but really ,i am sorry skip, but here they are im sending them out on tuesday,i hope you like them.
the brass screws were too soft,so i bought a tap and redid the threads then put on brass washers, then bought stainless screws, and put them in.
i finaly found a place localy that sells them short enough,"fastnal",
i didnt even know there was a store close by,i looked everywhere, then found them there.by the way these pics are closer to the real color then the top pic,a little darker, john

just got home from long day at work, 12hrs. the horns look just great. they will look great on the boat. you have done a great job on them. jody says she loves them and can't wait to see them. don't worry about taking so long to complete them. with all the flooding around here I may not be able to use the boat until the fall. Thankyou very much for the beautiful job, Jody & Skip.
