TOPIC: using HID for info to help ID boat?

Went picked up a controller that i tried to free last year w/ no luck today..
The owner has two boat sitting, one an ole fiberglassic Chrysler.
I posted pics of it on here last year...

anyway there is a HID tag say chrysler corporation plano,texas.

Is there anyway of using this info to determine actual model and year? Owner believes they have the title for the boat...told them I was still thinking about it..they want them out of there...


looks like it may have had a repair job on the starboard side of the boat...problem is they are parked so close together cant get a good look, and they've been sitting so long they are sunk down so pulling one out may be a chore...

Chrysler purchased Lone Star Boat Co. in 1965. The manditory US Coast Guard hull ID system started in November 1972. Therefore, this boat would date between 1965 (when Chrsyler purchased Lone Star) and November 1972.

That's all I know.

thats a start...thanks....the motor I picked off this one I believe was a 65-66 ? will have to recheck that.

Thinking it may be possibly the Charger 118..i found pics of '69..
