Hello
I hvae been working on what i believe is a woodson boat it is a trihull measures 14' 6'' in length . I have been having a difficult time finding info on this boat . Currently I have only used electric to power it but I am ready to go to an outboard . Does anyone know the recommended motor size , weight of boat or any where i may find information about this early Woodson .

Joe,

Some pictures of your boat and some dimensions might help someone on here find some info for you.

Woody Woodson was the guy you came up with the cathedral hull idea - commonly refered to as the tri-hull. His firm made Thunderbird brand boats. Promenently used in the television series "Flipper." Are Thunderbird's still built? I think so. Made in Decatur, Indiana.

Was your boat built by this Woody Woodson?

i traxked down a brochure it apears the boat was called a woodson tri hull the info I read actually said ibelieve the designer richard cole and his family were in the boat. not sure this is confirmed. unfortunately the clarity of the brochure on line is extremely difficult to read. but it looks exactly like my boat
