OK I thought everyone should see this so I'm posting it here. Sorry to any of you Lumi fans, just remember it's NOT MINE! I found this driving down to Suffolk VA on business a week ago. Sorry if it's grainy. It's from my cell phone. I blew it up and cropped it.

It's kind of hard to see but yep that's a Lumi being used as the top for this custom made trailer.

Its hard to tell from the pics but you know they made some factory camping rigs like that back in the 50's. But I dont recall if they were glass or lumis.

They were fiberglass. I have seen a couple at a number of rod events we used to go to and I think someone is reproducing them.

Sorry if I get by there again I'll have to bring my camera instead of the phone. From what I could tell, without going right up next to it, is it's a old aluminum rowboat. I believe the bottom part is in fact fiberglas. It's near the Maryland International Raceway. It's hard to tell from the pic but the bottom has fenders like it's the back end of a '56 chevy. They have a few oldie but goodie cars around the yard. Looks like an old Nomad painted up too, but too hidden to tell.
