Here's a classic, 14 foot fiberglass power boat for sale. This boat has fresh paint and is ready to go in the water. The transom and hull are solid, currently there is a transom extender to accommodate the long shaft Johnson motor.
I have one of two motors to choose from, a 1963 Johnson Sea Horse 18 hp or a 1966 Chrysler Sea King 35 hp.
The pictures show the 18 hp long shaft Johnson motor. This has new coils, points, condensers, fuel pump, recoil and prop. The carb has been recently rebuilt. It takes a few pulls to start, but she runs strong and moves the boat along pretty well. You can go for a long time with the 6 gallon tank. I've had it out already this season only to find out that there must be a bad seal on the bottom end and a little bit of water is now mixed in with my fresh oil change, so it will need another oil change and a new set of seals.
The other motor is a 1966 Montgomery Ward (Chrysler made, MW sold) Sea King 35 hp. This motor needs a tune up and may need a new coil (only has spark on one cylinder).
The trailer is a tilt style and although the boat is so easy to unload you don't need to tilt, it does work well. There's two new tires and new trailer lighting. The winch on the front works well. The trailer and boat weigh in at under 1000 lbs, so you can pull it with just about anything.
There is paperwork for both the boat and trailer.
At this point I am looking to get into a sailboat and would be interested in a boat trade or selling any or all pieces (with exception of selling the trailer before the boat).
Email me your offer or come take a look.
