Hi there I have look every were fore a boat that looks like mine and no luck. on the registration it states home built from looking at those boats i think is a 50s stile. I am ready to start panting this weekend i have all my parts here in one pile that i have ben collecting all winter. can't wate to finish her up :) I hope every one has a safe and fun boating year. Before you start Painting and putting any money into her, have you checked the transom to ensure it is sound? Boats of this vintage have a tendency to have some rot in the transoms and the stringer systems below the deck. I would suggest you investigate this before painting.

I have no idea what kind of boat this is but I do know that it is very cool and most certainly either 50's or very early 60's.

Yes i did i pold the old floor up.[ no foam ] The stringers look good and looked very close at the transom and drilled some holes around it and the wood came out dry.

GREAT!!! What Paint are you using?? I can HIGHLY recommend Rustoleum Professional Oil Based thinned with Acetone and Adding Valspar Acrylic Enamel Hardener. It yields a HIGH GLOSS finish that is extremely durable. You can use the White as a base and then use Artist Acrylic Oil Paint to tint it to any color in the Rainbow. You can Spray or use the Roll n' Roll method for application.

Hy there yes i am using the Rustoleum prof. i got high gloss white and blue and primer gray and acetone.I was just looking at the thread on using rustoleum and you where taking about the hardener i will have to pick some up mon. thanks Brian

That is a great looking boat, if i lived closer I would try to get that one from you...I hope you take that ugly anchor drop off the bow..lol..I love the lines.. my favorite look.....good luck.. send pics when you finish
