First the boat. It's a Renken, 14 feet.
Any ideas on year and model? The serial # appears to be:
1349 6 27.

.........................................................................................................

As for the motor, it's a Johnson but the year and HP are a mystery.
Any ideas based on the cowl?

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

old-omc.de has old brochures that you can compare the pictures. Looks like mid 60's to me. The model/serial number of course will confirm it.

Not sure about the boat.

Yep, This motor takes a licking and keeps on kicking!
Thats when they made motors to last.
How about a new Evinrude E-Tech 25? $6000.
They are very nice motors, but I have less than that in all of my motors and pontoons. To each his own.

Thanks to both of you.
The Old OMC site had it. It's a '63 40hp.

Motor and boat are probably same year, how about the trailer, what year is that. In the glassic library they only show one model year,61.They have 15 and 16'models,looks like the 16'deluxe model, need exact measurments to confirm model.

Wow that looks very close to the one Im playing with certianly older. I have not found much of anything to ID these yet. In my case I am guessing its a 67 cause my engine is so pretty good chance its the orig motor so your boat maybe inline with that..

I have yet to go register mine but was hoping when I do they may get some kind of info from the old reg number.

On mine there is a builders tag right in front of the motor in the splashwell,

I can barely read my serial # for sure, figured I would employ some forensic investigation at some point ( not sure what that means).

Im guessing thats the type of windshield that mine is missing as the mounting holes appear to be there. Wish we could find out some more info on these, mabye try to contact whoever owns whats left of em or whatnot and find out if there is old records floating around serial # wise ect..

I found a guy on the jalopy journal that has
the same boat as mine, he says it's a 1967.
Th styling seems more like late 50's-early 60's
to me, any thoughts?
