TOPIC: 1959 Wagemaker Empire

Hello! New to the site. We have a 59 Empire and I'm trying to do some research before putting it up for sale. We're really not sure what we have and if it's a desired make/model/year. We had it in the water last year. The motor on it is way too big -- it's a 1973 Chrysler 55 hp. Can someone tell me if there might be an interest in this boat and/or motor?

And welcome, Can you post some pictures of it? I have a 1960 Wagemaker Empire Clipper 17' with a 1970 Mercury 500 (50 HP)( My profile Pic.) and there is another Clipper on here as well but an 18. Under the library there are some brochures and I think an Ashcraft brochure that shows some rebaged Wagemaker Empire models.

I put pictures in the photo gallery under 1959 Wagemaker Empire 14'. I couldn't figure out how to load them here - I kept getting an error message that my file was too big.

Your pictures have to be 600 x 800 or smaller to post them here. I have the other Wagemaker Jesse was talking about. It's 1960 18" Empire Clipper. It has a 1959 Evinrude Fat Fifty on it. It's in my avatar, but it's just me and the cockpit. Here is a link to the restoration.
