TOPIC: 1959 flying fish pics needed

i got a 1959 herters flying fish,and was wondering if any of you have pics of what the bowlight and sternlight looked like.
i have the aluminum (vented) bow hardware but there are no lenses,and the stern light is missing.
any help would be appreceated,john i was also wondering just how many 1959 there are out there,this is the only one i have seen so far,john

I got to get up to there and have a look. My gas line in the yard blew out about 12 days ago. I've been struggling here with that and a few other things.

thanks for the pic million bubbles,my nose peice is different,it is also a vent that opens and closes,are the lights the same as the pic you emailed me?,john

The bow light is a red and green bulb like a flashlight. I went to a sailboat dealer and put two clear bulbs that fit in it.

The taillights look like a red and white go back there.

There are quite a few 1959 Herters Flying Fish out there when you start looking. I have one myself.

John, I noticed the difference in the two bow plates after I e-mailed the pic. My guess is the lenses are the same. Tom

haynes could you please put up a pic of your 59 flying fish,so far this is the only one i have seen,and its the deluxe model,a friend just sent me repos of a flying fish ciggerette and zippo lighter holder,and a glovebox cover(when its down it is a cupholder,lol.
