Depending on the TLC this could be a good deal.

Hard to tell for sure, but looks like an old Hydrostream. Those had balsa cored floors known for getting soggy & rotten. Not for the faint of heart to replace!

Still looks like a good deal. Get the motor running and trailer fixed up, it's an easy 700 bucks for sure.

Check out that wrap around 'rec room' sectional seating in it. Kinda reminds me of the seating in Carlson or Chrysler Commadore but higher and fancier.

That is a Kona. They remind me of the Avengers of the era. As I remember, they were a pretty fast hull but had foam installed under the floor and there was no drain under the floor area which caused the foam to become waterlogged and rot the stringers, floor, and transom. That would be a cool restoration project but I'm sure it would turn out to be just that. A project.

Yes, it's a Kona made by VIP boats out of Louisiana. (It says Kona on the side).

I have one that's an '85 and it looks almost exactly like that. Except the lounge seats: mine had been redone with a new floor and has bucket seats.

It's a stable hull even at higher speeds.

If you have to redo the floor and stringers, it may still be worth it for the price. You might even get 50 bucks for the lounge seats!
