Can anyone tell me what company made the Sea Kings for ward back in 68 Is it a company that still exsist ? Just like to know more about it Thank You Gary

It may have been Starcraft. I suspect it was more than one manufacturer but I would bet on Starcraft.

Yes, Starcraft made sea king boats for montgomery wards in the 60s. they made fiberglass and aluminum models. Basically, they are rebranded starcrafts though some sea kings had the raised laps when some of the equivalent starcrafts had straight lapstrakes (later models).

raised lapstrakes are like the ones in my pic of my cruiser,it was made by starcraft,you can see behind me and to the right how the lapstrake goes up,john

Thanks John, The picture cleared it up for me. I haven't started the restro. on the Wards (Starcraft) cutty that is like your's.
