TOPIC: Heres my Plan

Heres my plan on the order im am going to do my boat any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

1. Sand inside/Clean it out
2. Fill all holes with Marine Tex
3. Work on back seat bridging the gap
4. make the top super smooth and even
5. Transom work
6. Paint Choices
7. Paint inside and out
8. Upholstery
9. Find all the hardware i want to use
10. Mount all the hardware
11. Find or Make the windshield and mount it
12. Buy lights and mount them
13. Mount Switches
14. Wire everything
15. Buy horn and mount it
16. Registration Lettering
17. Name
18. Bilge Pump
19. Registration
20. Capacity Plate
21. Buy motor/mount it.



Any thing i missed please tell me!!!!!

I’m not a guru by any means. But I have been involved in my fair share of boat resto’s. You have a good working list to work from. (I assume you have a solid floor?) There is only a minor change in the order of your work list I would change. Here it is. I would locate and temporally mount any and all parts i.e. hardware, lights, windshield etc. and drill all your new holes before doing your finished body and paint work. There’s nothing like having a drill bit or a screw driver slip to wreck months worth of your hard work.

Also make sure to add to your list. I AM HAVING FUN DOING THIS!
