Picked this up yesterday 1960-61 Evenrude Sport and the 60-61 80 h.p. Merc DR Picked it up for the trailer and engine. Clark Savage do you need any trim off the boat?

I always loved these boats, especially the outboard model.

I would be interested in the steering wheel. The PO on my 66 Power Cat put a small diameter sport wheel on and did not save the original.I am looking for a period correct unit. Is there any markings on the center cap?

DelRay ............

I certainly do! The first things which come to mind are the front and rear lights. I'm totally missing the front staff and light. I have the rear staff, but no light on the top. My railing bases are pitted and cracked, but I'll bet yours are too and that should be an off-the-shelf item. All my cleats are somewhat pitted, but they are all in one piece (no broken tips).

My right-hand windshield glass is cracked, but is probably available locally for less than shipping, not sure about that. My frame may be totally corroded together and impossible to get apart to replace the glass.

I see you have the same fittings in the bow which I have. I think those are end braces for some sort of bow cover support. I was thinking about making one from a piece of varnished Oak. Can you tell me any more about that?

Shame to see it go the scrap pile. It looks in as good a shape as mine. :(

I thought of one more item. All of my "E" emblems on the side of the boat just forward of the windshield are broken, one end or another. If I had even one complete one, I could take a mold of it and cast some new ones from resin. 'Course, I rather have the complete set of four, but any would help.

The center cap is kinda unique. It's concave with whats left of the "E" rude logo in paint.
