it not too bad except for this crack,which i drilled a hole at the ends of the cracks,then ground out the cracks.then hand sanded every part of it,then filled the crack with epoxy for plastic,rubber and metal,then more hand sanding,im hoping to get it painted today.heres what i have so far,john

hi paul its finished but im going to keep it a little while,i want to make good and sure the paint is well cured before i box it up,if thats ok,,john

Very nice. I like the "stripe" action on the spokes. The fact that they don't go all away around makes it look more unique.

John,
That looks so cool! I'm really happy with it. I love how you did the blue stripes to highlight those grooves. Thank You!

Now I have to get going on the '60 Lone Star El Dorado cruiser the wheel goes on. Will you send the paint code or name so that when I get to painting the boat I can match the blue on the steering wheel as closely as possible.

Your work is absolutely beautiful. Glad you posted it up on the board and hope it gets you some more paying work. You are so incredibly generous to all the members, but just know with your level of work, people would be happy to pay you!

thank you paul,i cant wait to see it in the boat,as for the color match just take the wheel with you and they can match it up,because this is an anodized paint with mettalic ground coat,its made for motors.i was going to paint the name in the wheel white,but the stamping the company did isnt perfect.the edges would feather out,john
