I've done a search but having trouble finding them, any help would be apprieciated !! As well anyone with opinions on how well it works would be great, thanks. I believe Jamil used West System materials in his tutorial on transom replacement seen in the restoration section here;

There are numerous threads on the subject as you probably already know, by using "transom replacement" in the search box above. (About 5 pages, I think)
