So I decided to build a 8 foot pylon(for wake boarding) and a side boom for barefooting. I know this site is more classic boat, but these parts are getting used in one. Plus I thought some one might get and idea or two from the work.
This is the combo lower ski ball bracket, and boom axle.

This is the ball for on top the 8ft pylon
This is it waiting for me to heat fit it
This balls and brackets are 6061 t6 the pole is 304h ss.

I do Maintenance and have access to the machines so it works out well for me. We just got a new Hass cnc mill and lathe and it makes it very easy to program. thanks for the good word :.)
