I hope this is allowed to be asked here. I try to find things like speedos and tachs, stern lights, etc. and I will get 8 million items and 898 pages to wade through. Obviously I am doing something VERY wrong. I have not trouble doing car or motorcycle searches, but boat searches is way different. HELP!!!!

The problem your having searching for stern lights, is that you're getting every hit for "stern" and every hit for "lights"

Nearly all search boxes, including google, ebay, craigslist, etc... will allow you to use quotes to refine your search.

Instead of typing in: stern lights
Type in: "stern lights"

And you will get rid of all the stern tube, stern bracket, running lights, nav lights... and on and on.

You can leave other modifiers out of the quotes and further refine your searches: vintage "stern lights" will give you every stern light listing that also has the word "vintage" somewhere else in the ad.

Behold the power of quotes.
