TOPIC: 1959 Evinrude Lark Owners Manual

I picked up my second 1959 Evinrude Lark... She's in GREAT shape- It looks like it's only been run a few hours...

The best part of the whole 'score' is the other stuff that I now have- It came with controls, electrical harness, and dash plate, complete with the 'Golden Jubilee' emblem...

AND- I've got the Original '59 owners manual.

There is a LOT of info in the manual that is really helpful, not only for this motor, but other evinrudes as well... Installation, care, etc.

So, I scanned it and made an Acrobat PDF out of it. If anyone wants a copy, I posted it on my web page-

I own four 1959 Larks. My favorite motor of all time. If you need parts, I have many. Would love a copy of what you have.

And, I run twin 1962 Larks on the Power Cat.

Hey I'm getting a pair of 62's this weekend. Not sure what I'm going to put them on but they look good and come with controls and run! Going to have to put impellers in for sure and see what else I need when I get them home.

yeah me too a 1959 golden jubilee ,35 hp.everthing is there,john

hmmmm,as i look at brians 59 jubilee i see i am missing the emblem on the front of the cowl,under the triangle ,that says 35 on it,brian do you have one of those emblems,i have the gold triangle,john

John - I should have what you need but won't be able to look until after July 10th. I have spare hoods, and I bought a complete set of 59 Lark trim off ebay years ago. B

brian,thanks,and no problem,im not going to be able to get one of my boats done by july 16th ,the hammondsport show anyhow,so after rons boat,im restoring the merc that goes on ed and moms sunray,it wont be till after that that i can get to the jubilee,i will see you then and let me know how much.
