I've had 3 fiberglass cars - all of them British Reliant 3 wheelers. I'm looking for photos but I think that was in the days of Film so I'll have to scan. One of them was a Series 1 Convertible - one of three left. At their peak they were the largest consumer of fiberglass cloth and resin in Europe! They're very well built and a lot of fun to drive - especially here where a RHD 3 wheeler is....unusual :~)

You can read more about Reliant here -
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reliant_Robin

Then there are the Fiberglass campers. A trend that started in Canada in the late 60's. The first was Boler - www.suite101.com/content/history-of-the-boler-ultralight-trailer-a100809

A long line of ultralight campers has followed to this day. My favorite isn't an ultralight - it's this beauty.

There are only 2 or 3 of these. The owners of Harry and David's mail order Fruit business backed this one investing a ton of money. I'll find the history and update this post with it ASAP.

There's somebody here who'd like one :~)

Actually they've been re-popped

I'd like an original though.
