Already a bit 'rich' for my tastes- Though it's very unique-

cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p5197.c0.m619&item=260738343869&viewitem=&category=50439#ht_6429wt_939

Anyone want to venture a guess where it's going to end up pricewise?? It's already up there- and 4 days to go!

That guy should put his shirt on before taking pics of chrome parts!!! Once again missing the center lens, but at least he's got a plan for the new owner to make replacing it a possibility.

Andrew, I'll bet it goes over $450, but probably right at the last minute! (I hate getting sniped, or whatever you call it. Kinda leaves you feeling "cheated".) Oh well, too rich for me too. ;)

That bow light is of course an Attwood and was featured on the cover of the 1960 catalog.

ITs still cheaper than the $2500.00 one that was not in much better shape. Might be worth about 400 but not much more. Skip.

Forget it, if Woodboat has it on her radar, you can't outbid her.

Anybody else ever thought that these look like Chrome plated Fallopian tubes?

Boy am I glad I saw this post - I just recalled that I had a box of NOS light lens' in my treasure pile. Look what I found in the box.

Thanks guys!

yes...very cool...

KevFin did a post a while ago on another site featuring this picture:

I think he calls it "Flight of the Fallopian Tubes" or something like that.

He also sells re-pops of the center lights on his site.

Over $300, and still 3 days to go. It's already going for more than I paid for my boat, motor, and trailer :)

Was made by the Jervis company, early 1960s It was part of a whole package of similar inspired hardware. Very cool stuff. I have a whole set in excellent shape someplace around the shop. These were not designed for any specific boat - they were aftermarket - just like 90% of all other boat hardware is.

Re:VERY cool light on E-Bay 13 years 7 months ago #26468

Well,

I own 11 of those cool lights among the hundreds of lights I have.

MY BAD that I didn't buy that light for the pittance it brought.

The kids and two grandkids came over for dinner and I missed out :(
