TOPIC: My boat won't start.............

Engine won't crank. I even went to Wally's and bought a new battery, but that didn't help. I've read that corroded wires can be the probs... My uncle Fester says to pour a Coke or Pepsi on it & it will clean it. OK - Since I don't drink Coke, I have pepsi in the cooler. So, what part do I pour the Pepsi on? Do I need a wiring diagram?
please help

Did you try calling it a %$#@sucker? If that doesn't do it, a good whack with a three pound sledge should get 'er going.

Pepsi doesn't work as well- Submerge that entire thing in some of the beer that is in the box behind it... Let it sit for a few hours, and it'll be as good as new. She'll start right up. If that fails, try some marvel mystery oil.
Or- Just drink the beer. |

Soak the whole mess in a water/molasses mixture at 4:1 for a few days. Send me the beer.

You can stand over it and use the beer byproduct after a few. Hook up a 220 power source and flip the switch.

I see the problem - you let the rust out! All that rust on the ground needs to go back in the box! Kinda like letting the smoke out of an electronic gizmo...

My boat won't start either, but I have a hint why - the motor is in my shop and the boat is surrounded by about 4' of snow!

It looks like the brown wire is crossed with the brown wire. If you use a brown jumper and connect over to the brown wire, the one that is just below the brown wire, it should start.
If that doesn't work, pull the rope. Neil |

I would if i could get to the boat Ron. I'm one armed for a while and can't afford to lose my balance. The snow is up over my knees. Maybe this weekend, gonna be out in it with a ladder and Gregg to shovel and rake the other 1/2 of the house roof. He got the side near the road done last weekend. I'm little to no help.
