"But- It has a $2500.00 bow light on it!"

And they want to charge shipping on top of that, I would think they could absorbe the $7 lol.

Re:Nice Attwood Bow light on e-bay 13 years 7 months ago #24680

That is a truly unique light and I have no doubt that it will command a decent price but I doubt that high.

I can see a bid coming in as high as 1100 only because there are people with too dam much money. Man I wish I was one of them.

I will aunty up this Unique Art Deco light/cigarette lighter and it's shipping cost to the closest guess within 25 dollars plus or minus of the final bid.

My guess is $1,100 dollars

Anyone else?

I need one of those lighters for my Lonestar! All you can find new anymore around here have those ugly plastic bases.

I'll guess $970.00 Hey, times are hard.

Some people are like slinkies... Not much good for anything, but they sure are fun to push down the stairs.

Re:Nice Attwood Bow light on e-bay 13 years 7 months ago #24683

For that price it should have chrome that is perfect, no rust and be complete. Maybe someone on Wall St. will buy it. Skip.

I just made a bid on it but was declined. Skip.

I paid $200 for my Kainer for my 61 Cruisers Inc. This one? Gosh I think the lister's head needs to come on up for some fresh air. Cool and all but my gosh.

Though I do not think the buy-it-now price is realistic, I must add that these lights are difficult to find and are not cheap. I would gladly pay $500 to the seller for that light.....though I don't think he will take it. I have not bid anything and don't expect him to respond...

sure 200 for a kainer (the chrome is perfect on it no pitting unlike this one) 500 is reasonable for a light like this. it is rare but not worth a mortgage payment.

I have an NOS bow light/pennant staff that I bought years back for the Manta Ray I was going to do. I paid about $200 +/- for it. Saving it for my next CC project.

Flamingo- I've got 3-4 of those lights, but only one pennant staff... I think that the pennant staff is probably worth many times more than the light- the light is fairly common...

Tudor- NICE light. A must have on a CC, too... I'm still looking for mine for the Tiger Ray. But, I've got a few more years 'till that one is restored!

You did? Hmmmm. Doug does not want the Manta Ray, so I may keep it and work on it over time. There are a lot of projects ahead of it, plus I don't have a "spare" outboard!
