I'm wondering how many people here have seen the "Glassic Map"?
www.fiberglassics.com/glassic-map You have to be logged in to see it. Your location will display correctly if you have filled in your profile correctly. It's kinda neat if you want to see the other glassheads in your neck of the woods. There is a poll published in the right of this page if you want to "vote". |

Sure is a LOT more pins in it these days! I remember when it first went up, was pretty "sparsely" populated, compared to what it looks like now.

great job on the map. thanks for your time spent on this. I viewed it the first time this morning. Living in CT I was "buried" with a lot of pins. I then realized I could zoom in and view each pin separately and identify my neighboring glassicsheads (I guess more brain cells are out of commission since the EPA has allowed 15% ethanol in our gas).

59 TH, Click on their avatar, that will take you to their profile. At the top you will see a "connections" button. I believe if you click that it will give you an option to add a connection to that member. (Hope my memory is serving me correctly here.)

Regarding the "boats" tab, I'd like to add my boats, but two of the three brands I own aren't listed. Is there a way to type in names manually?
To clarify, I'm assuming we add it by clicking the appropriate boxes in one of our profile tabs... |

Great feature. How do we fix where we are mapped? Mine is in the wrong state. It shows me in Indiana and I'm actually in Southern Maryland very close to tdigennaro. Basically due south from him on the map.

Make sure your profile is correct, it uses the data there to map you. I'm not sure if there is some glitch if your profile has the correct data. I saw someone from Richmond, TX with a pin near Richmond, VA! Maybe makes it more interesting?

Please email me through the PM, private mail or post the makes of your boats in the support forum and I'll add them to the database.
I really like the feature and the more accurately we get the profiles, the better the map will work. |
