Registered my Sabrecraft/trailer today.
The boat was $41.50. 1 year.
The trailer was $8.00. 1 year.
Idaho goes from Jan. 1 thru Dec. 31.

My wife and I are going to go to the lake this Saturday.
The water level is way down, but there is one boat ramp that can be used year round. We are going to shoot for going boating every month this year. There will be long johns and sweaters involved I'm sure.

Shut up, you can't boat in January in Idaho. I'm in Michigan and there's no where to boat here in January. It was below zero here last week.

You are pretty lucky there Neil. Coeur d'Alene is still about 3 feet over summer levels. It was way over that last weekend. I cant wait to get out on the lake though. I may have to come down and do a little blue-backing at Dworshak this summer.

Drop me a line here toward summer and we will see if we can get together at Dworshak. We are generally on the lake every weekend during the summer months.

Thinking I might give it a try tomorrow myself. 69 deg. today and got all my "honey-do" list done! My lake is down about 5ft (for winter dock maintenance), but I believe one or two of the ramps might still be open and usable.

The air temp. was 40 with drizzling rain.
There was only one other boat on the lake, he was out fishin'.
We did not wander too far from the dock in case of trouble.

these boat rides are so inspirational yet depressing. we got about 8 inches of fluffy white snow today and another 12 to 18 of heavier wet snow coming tomorrow. I think 41 degrees I could bring out the shorts and suntan lotion

Just caught a good weekend.
It turned off cold again Monday. We have been in the low teens.
January/February weather is back.

Yup 263 feet. The lake is down about 60 to 70 feet this time of year.
It is usually at full pool on the 4th of July. That is a biggest, busiest weekend of course.
Lots and lots of boats at the ramps. And lots of wake to contend with. But at 1 to 2 miles wide and 50 miles long there seems to be plenty of room, even for the kooky ones. Plenty of alcohol and suntan lotion.
On July 5th they start letting water out at the rate of 1 foot per day. California needs the electricity.

You should have seen Coeur d'Alene the other day, smooth as glass, beautiful sunny day......and 8 degrees. There were only two trailers at the ramp and I sure hope those guys had cabin heaters. We should be hip deep in snow up here but hey I'm not going to complain.

Keep truckin' Mark.
I was in Portland picking up some of Carl's offspring this weekend.
Looks like I have one weekend left. The weather is supposed to be nasty. Also out of the two days, a gentleman is going to come up and buy the Imp and the Evinrude. I would bet that he is gonna pick the best day. :)
But, I'm gonna perservere. I just gotta go!!

I got that Glasstron. It is pretty sad shape. It does have the front hatch cover with the G insignia. It measures 11'high by 12.5" wide, the latch and the hinge are usable if you are interested. You replaced yours with a wooden cover if I remember.
I will post a pic here soon.
Here you go Mark.
I don't know if you are interested, but if you want it, it is yours.

It is usable, but on the very low end. The old girl has seen better days that is for sure.
No seats, center section of the windshield gone, floor is soft, transom is shot, bow is really beat up, dash has been beat up.
All in all it is on the down side of ugly.
It is registered as a 71 G-tron. On the side it says 166.
If there are any parts at all you can use, you can have them. I know you got yours in primo shape, so there may be little here that you can use.

I guess there are some out there that it's best to just let go, it's just sad though. The bow hatch door is the right size, I'd love to have it. I'll shoot you an email with my address, and I'll be glad to send you a check to cover shipping costs, etc.. Thanks bud!
