Hey guys, just signed up. Can anyone help me identify the make of this boat I am starting to work on? Serial # on upper right side of back of boat starts with AMM XXXXXX73. Does that maker code ring any bells? It is about 17ft or so. Has 140 mercruiser I/O. I thought it had Bell Boyish lines with the fake wood style glass shape. Let me know your thoughts...

Anyone know what AMM stands for? I am guess that is a hint to the maker.

OK thanks sir. OK so did American Marine Industries make the Bell Boy model or own the brand from 1978-1983 then?

I just found this classified add that has a bigger version of this boat and it mentions AMM and BellBoy together:

Tacoma would make sense too as I am in the Pacific Northwest myself. If anyone has one of these boats too let me know too. Great forum so far!!
