Engine is apart and on its way to engine shop. It will be cleaned and put back together. New bearings, rings, intake and exhaust valves. Car is being blasted, soda outside and sand inside.

Boy, if it's like muscle car era sheet metal, don't sand blast with just sand at all unless it's one of these new wet impact set-ups. Too easy to warp the metal.

Nice motor tear down. Looks like you spent some time on it. I can't wait to see it run!

Thanks for the heads up. I am planning to have the body panels soda blasted. I'm told this takes everything off with no warping. The business doing the work seemed very knowledgeable. I can only hope they are.
