TOPIC: please ID this boat

please ID this boat 13 years 9 months ago #21995

This picture was posted here a while back. I saved it to my harddrive but never found out the make, model and year and can't find the thread for some reason.

Anyone know what this is?

\"too soon old,too late smart\" my pap

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“

That's Ted Miller's Switzer Craft Flying Wing. Probably a mid to late 60's. Seems like this style was around '67 or 68. This link has some different wing restorations listed, including more pics of the one you've posted. Just click on the blue dots.

Some people are like slinkies... Not much good for anything, but they sure are fun to push down the stairs.
