TOPIC: dorsett catalina

hey guys and gals, just bought an old johnson 75hp outboard for my dorsett catalina...what are yall's thoughts. is this a good choice? thanks, Ben

What year is it Ben? The model and serial numbers are usually on a tag on the mounting bracket, the last two numbers are the year of mfg. Could be some numbers stamped into the prop to tell the size and pitch as well. What did it come off of? Any pics?

The 75 will work great a 90 will work better if you have a longshaft transom!
