I offered him 500 for the fenders and brackets yesterday afternoon if he would send them to me,If the other one is as good as the one in picture, but we will see he said he had a guy to buy it all, what ever,, Bill Anderson

Too bad we couldn't put a bid together on ebay,I think he has to honor that. I would chip in 250 or so for the boat,motor and trailer ,less the fenders etc.that would put the bid at 750

Yeah- I'm the 'other guy'. He just emailed me. He wants $600 for the package- I really only wanted the trailer- But It's not really that logistically possible now (the wife would KILL me if I brought another boat OR trailer home- And I'm out of hiding spots!

wonder how that works?
has it listed for $500 and now wnats $600.? sounds a bit complexed now. you that know each other on here need to to post communicate with each other and then contact the seller to score the deal. just my 2cents. |

The guy would of probably taken 350-400 if you walked up with cash a couple days ago. Now he has a couple people offering his ASKING price for the trailer and or fenders alone.Sure he is going to bump his price up if he thinks he is sitting on sort of pot of gold.I am not pointing fingers at anyone here,because if I was looking for that trailer alone I would do the same thing.I am just saying thats the way some people think and the seller is one of them.Now when no one comes through with his demands he will try and get in touch with Bill to off the fenders for 550. Then repost the boat for 500 with trailer and no pic of the fenders or trailer.

I don't know for sure, but I would suspect that he'd be in a world of **** with ebay if he was caught trying to boost a price on an item he'd already posted.
Just a warning, too - this seller has some problems with his ebay rating. |

Since it's a classified ad, the rules are a little different...
I'm not going to be sending him any money anytime soon, though. I don't blame him for trying to get as much as possible for what he's selling- But perhaps he should have done a bit of research before coming up with an asking price! |

I finally bought the trailer, the fender I didn't see was not as good as the other one. I was trying to buy all for mr 88 but when I got to him he sold the motor and boat. I talked to him several times and he seems ok, he is from denmark and has a businee here also. he saw a chance for extra money and went for itmy conversation when it 1st went off was for trailer only, then when I went back theboat and actually 2 motors were sold,,so I think he is OK we will see Thanks Bill.

So after he tells you he sold the boat and motor guess whats back on Ebay. Yep the above two items. No bids yet and I am not in the mood to deal with 'no paperwork' in New York. Of course him telling Bill it was sold also gets under my skin.No money in hand = not sold in my book.
