TOPIC: Project:Fabulous Fifties [ Commando U-2]

This is my new project for next year but since i have some free time before my vacation i might as well do what i can before i leave.In this project i like to make a new Commando u-2 with a few changes to it such as hatches in the forward deck and maybe at the stern for easy access to get to the fuel tank,storage,no wood and such...The old U-2 does not have stringer in it so maybe i will put it in this 1 also.The old u-2 2 fins is attach on will screw and a trim goes over it but what i found when i took it of is that there is a bunch of dirt,garbage and so many holes inside so with this New U-2 i will try to mold it in to the deck with no screw but only for those holding the trim pieces.So far i gelcoat the hull mold yesterday and today i will start the first skin layer in the lay-up progress.I hope everybody can enjoy watching her come alive as much as i enjoy working on them...
