I can,t seem to say no and i don,t want to walk away from her.But i really can,t seem to find the time to restore her.Don,t really know what she is yet but i think it is a Bell buoy about 20' long she sure need a full restoration to make her shine.

Pretty sure she is a Skagit,'58/'59/? Maybe BillR will confirm. Will you reveal it's location if you pass on it Commander? I am just across the border from you I believe.

Either Skagit or BellBoy 20ft. Check the bottom really close as the 59 and 60s can hook or go the other way. Looks to be a 59 Skagit by side trim and cuddy cabin. Clint

Yes, she's a 1959 Skagit 20 Express. Slight chance she's a 1960, I'd have to see the full side shot to tell you.
As Clint says, check the bottom with a straightedge longitudinally as the later ones 59 on had a web girder stringer system rather than lengthwise fiberglass stringers.
We've had a few apart, and have found the quality of the web girder layup varies; excellent on some but very thin mat layup on others.
Nice layout on those boats, and that's a real glass windshield suitable for windshield wipers. The 59 had the nicest fiberglass windshield frame, by far the stiffest of all the 20 Skagit winshield frames.
Give me a ring Bill, you still have my number?

Looks like a nice boat- And one of those that if you pass on now, you'll probably regret later... Looks like it needs some work, but looks like it'd be well worth it!

Thanks for the update Commander. My guess is at that price point it will be there another 5-6 yrs and honestly I think you were on target with a $500.00 offer.

Love those colors.
Here's our friend Greg's Miss Pinky.
His has been converted to a 120hp chevy 4 cylinder mercruiser sterndrive. Quiet and great fuel economy. Kinda cool.
