I can't post pictures due to file sizes. Is there a way to reduce them?
Thanks,
Randy

I use Microsoft Paint and just use image stretch skey and resave.. seems the easiest method for me on a work computer without installing any new software.
Just how I do it.

I use Gimp, it's free software, and VERY powerful. I have it at home and on my work computer.

To change physical size, once you've opened an image, you go to image, then scale image, and that gives you choices in pixels or inches. Then when you save as, it allows you to reduce the kilobyte size of the pic.

I do most all mine at 800 X 600, and then save them around 100k or less. That allows people with dial-up to see the pics too.

I use IrfanView. It's free. Once loaded all you need to do is right click on the choosen photo you will get a pop up that will ask "open with". Choose Irfan then when it loads click on "image" at the top in the tool bar, then "resize".Another menue will pop up,choose the size then click on "file" at the top ,tool bar and you can "save as".Much easier than I have describe really.

Yep.. I've used Irfanview for about 10 years now. It's super quick, easy, and free. www.irfanview.com

Some people are like slinkies... Not much good for anything, but they sure are fun to push down the stairs.

for those that are computer challenged, and wish not to install software, go to google and type key words "free online picture resizer"

you simply upload and tell it to reduce by 50% 20% etc...easy peazy
