Ugg, The S word....
It's unseasonably warm here- High 50's and sunny. Not what you'd expect this time of year in Northern Michigan, but I'm not complaining! |

DOH!!!!!!! So far we've been lucky here in Southern Maryland. I tried to take the boat out one more time this last weekend but it was 50, with small craft warnings all weekend on the Potomac so no good "on the water" pics. I'm still holding out for one more good day. It could happen...........

We had an inch and a half of snow Friday night. Didn't stick around too long. Sixties this week, gotta love Michigan!

Maybe one more Jim, not sure. I got a place cleaned out in the pole barn to put her, but it won't fit with the motor on it. I need to get a cover for it, but everything takes time.

Dam Frank your boat don't look to happy with snow on it. Well they say we have a chance of snow here in northern Nevada tomorrow. Just hope we get some good snow this winter to fill our lakes. Plus I want to take out my old snowmobiles. Last winter we had one good snow here and got the wife to take out the Evinrude snowmobile and now shes wait for some good snow so she can try it again.

Mike,
Nice looking old Rude!!! We had an old SkiDo. The one that the front end looked like a Bees behind. Darn skis were too close togther though, the thing would tip over if you turned too sharp. Dad made some spreader plates and spread the skis out about 4" on each side and that too care of the design flaw. We also had an old Alouette (spelling) with a 400 Kohler in it. That thing was a tank but sure would go! I miss those things. Bob |

I'm in St. Clair - winds were just right for lake effect off Lake Huron, which doesn't happen too often. |

If you want so fun watch this part 1 first and then part 3. This was me and my buddys snowmobiling a few years back. My buddy made this up as a movie with credits and all. Sure wish I could get out like this again. Boy did we have fun.

Sweet videos. I miss those days. We use to go up to Tip Up Town on Houghton Lake Michigan all the time. Snowmobile across the lake watch snowmobile drag races, etc... Frank, That's what they make snow suits for. Bob |

Ok. Sometimes we get lake effect snow from Lk Mich if the wind is blowing hard enough from the west. My daughter works in Mt.Clemens,Clinton TwpBoats are all put away have to get out the O'le 69 Ski Doo 12/3 |

I lived in Holland (MI) for ten years so I know what real lake effect is! Wish I was over there a couple of weeks ago to see the waves stirred up by that wind storm.
