TOPIC: Harvey Marine

Hello everyone, I'm a newbie here with a question. Why can't I find any pictures or info about Harvey boats, that were made in Aloha Oregon? I've tried to talk to Harvey Marine out there and the old man just wants to sell you stuff. Any response would be good. I know these boats were just plain janes, but my 1964 16' is in good shape.

I suppose it's because Harvey maybe was a very small local manufacturer?

I've never heard of that make, maybe someone else has!

Yea, that's what I thought. I did find a 14' Runabout for sale on C'list.....$4000! I think that's a bit much. I'll keep searching, thanks.

Tail Fins and Two-Tones Lists Harvey Boat Works, Inc. as being at 21460 Tualatin Valley Highway in Aloha, Oregon. 1959-60 models included "Ski-Whiz" and "Sea-Scanner". Company re-named Harvey Corporation in 1961.

Do you have any photos of your boat to share? The few Harveys that have turned up on this forum seem to have been period copies of models by other manufacturers such as Glass Magic and Bell Boy.
