Hi all. My Fiberglassics are put away for the winter. But I still am running my 21' pontoon powered by a 62 Homelite. Had a few problems down the road but I think they are solved.
So far so good. :)

Thanks Mark. I plan on pulling the pontoon next week sometime.
The spring clips on the distribitor were not holding the cap down tight causing the wear on the rotor snd contact. I adjusted them so they hold tight now. As of the last check I didn't see any irregular wear. Hopefully I got it. I am now an expert a Homelite cam changer. I also :cheer: put in the newer cam that uses the nylon distrib key. No need to pull cam for key replacement.
Hopefully I'll have my 62 Lone Star Fleetwood in the water next season..Powered by a 62 Merc 700 FGS.

I have three last-series Bearcats. Great motors! But I sure would like a short shaft to put on one!

Bill
I found this laying in a guys backyard.
He won't get rid of it.
RIP old girl. :(
Looks like he has been mowing around it for years.
