My oldest son Gregg and I are off this a.m. up to Schroon Lake in the Adirondacks for an AOMCI "wet" meet. Got more than enough to do around here, but the heck with it. I'm taking at least part of the day off to enjoy my boat, the camaraderie of old outboard motor nuts, and at the same time enjoy the Adirondacks and boating in and in sight of "forever wild" mountain landscapes. Been a long time. To cap it off, it's predicted to be a beautifully sunny, high 60's sort of day. Nothing like a little cool weather to make an old outboard hum.
