Can't remember who it was but somebody a while back post about some stuff that you can use on rotten wood and it was suppose to make it as hard or harder than the wood. Anybody know what it was ?

That looks like good stuff but not the same stuff as what I was talking about. You painted the wood with this stuff and it soaked into it and then would harden up.

Mike, are you talking about preserving wood so it dosent become rotten OR are you talking about making rotten wood new again???, Mike

Git-Rot is a penetrating epoxy for hardening up rotted wood.

Remove the rotten wood and replace it with sound wood. No goop, gouge, or elixer is going to fix rotten wood. No matter what anyone claims.

Well i got into the boat a little farther and to much rot to even think out any of this stuff. So its a complet restore.
