Another great finned mystery boat. Kinda like a Seafury, early Lake 'N Sea or a Commando but not quite. Very neat find.

Cool boat.

National Marine Plastics used the brand name "Commando" for their boats.

In March 1958 the son of company owner Claud Miller opened a branch plant at Greenville, Mississippi. They shipped their first boats in April 1958. By August that year they were looking for additional working capital from local investors. A month later lawsuits start flying every which way and that was the end of the Mississippi branch.

This one is still in the works.
The gentleman is on the fence about turning loose of it.
I would like to pick it up and shelf it until it time to do a total restore, be it me or another classic glass guy.
But it defenitely needs saving.
