TOPIC: What years for Hydrodyne Tournament Skier?

Would anyone out there know the range of years when Hydrodyne produced the 18 Tournament Skier? Were the outboard and the sterndrive versions available over the entire period? Thanks!

It is of some help, but I am looking for the very first years for the tournament skier, to date a boat which we have purchased. So far, i have seen the tournament skier in a New York World's fair ad published in 1963, and also have pictures of a tournament skier OB during the show in 1964. If anyone might have brochures around this time they may list the model, which was model 1800. I sure wish they put the years somewhere on these boats.
The boat was not listed in the 1962 year as a model in their hydrodyne brochure, but that does not necessarily mean that they didn't produce any - the first 1800 was made as a race boat and specifically designed for 2 outboards. So the first few may not have made it into the 1962 catalogue, as that was the year Ab Crosby was rumored to have built one or more. I am trying to hunt down a 1963 or 1964 catalogue.

That is all of the information that I have. But I am sure there are some Crosby/Hydrodyne fans out there that might know.

All I did was google "Hydrodyne 18 Tournament Skier". That link was the first thing that came up of many.

I do not believe Tournament Skiers hit the market until the later 60's. Hydrodyne began production in 1959-60. Ab Jr. was the driver for the skier. 1963-64 seems too early for them. I will check my 1967 records for a skier. I had a 1967 1750 Speed V, but can't remember if a skier was offered that year.
