TOPIC: Herters Flying Fish value and for sale

Seeing past discussions on the Herters Flying Fish, thought I'd ask a few questions about a 1958 pink/black "Bat boat" that my father bought new, is still in great shape and I'd like to sell. Online research and email to boat clubs/antique boat sites claims the value is between $7500-$15000. I'd be happy to get ~10k but since there aren't many of these around, I can't gauge the level of interest in this period/type of boat. Also, being unrestored perhaps that number is unrealistic in today's market? I'd rather not deal with ebay, Craigslist, Marketplace or local listings but considered a consignment company(although I know nothing of this avenue), or maybe someone here has another suggestion?
