TOPIC: 1963 Glasspar, I believe it's an Avalon?

I am looking at a 63' Avalon project, at least I believe it to be.
Please confirm and feel free to add any relevant details.

Classic hull design, interesting color! I'd be checking the transom for cracks/strength and perhaps anticipating some work there and maybe the flooring/stringers too. Or maybe it's solid, you never know.

My Dad bought a '64/65 Avalon, white hull with blue on top, back in the day. Cool boat. Had a 65hp Evinrude Selectric as I recall. One time we were out fishing and the Fwd Gear spring blew out of the lower unit and all we could do is go in Reverse. I was the only one who caught a salmon that day, and I vividly remember my Uncle and I having to sit on the bow, so the transom wouldn't go under as we were reversing back to the ramp!!

I wonder if that could be a Marathon. You'll note the hull doesn't have the Style Side but does have a stripe. The pics of a '61 Marathon show the stripe and show the Avalon with the classic style side.

One thing that'll tell for sure is the centerline length. Marathon is around 14 feet and the Avalon is 15ft 10 in.
