TOPIC: Help IDing grandfathers old boat

I have some pictures of my grandfathers old boat that I found. I have no information other than the pictures.

Pictures were taken in southwest LA around 1964.

In all the googling I’ve done I can’t find anything with the rounded splash well and a slight inward angle at the transom.

I am trying to figure out what it is in case I ever run across the same one as possible restoration project.

Welcome aboard, have to say I'm not sure what it is but the bow is distinct but haven't seen it before, but I'm sure someone else here will know. Have you checked the Glassic Libraryon this site. It has a lot of information we may have it there.

Can read LAMAR on gunnel and it is listed in the FG library.

Looks similar to the Fisherman Coronado (top center)


Has plywood seats as mentioned in ad but appears to be FG hull and top deck. I'd bet that little boat really moved with the twin Johnsons.

Thanks! I agree it says Lamar, just had trouble finding any pictures to back it up, but it seems like a very close match to the Coronado.
