I bought a really nice vintage spotlight for the OMC Dual Deluxe project. I took it all apart, polished each piece, fully lubricated everything, replaced the electrical connections, reassembled it and then I covered it with plastic and set it off to the side where it wouldn't be damaged. Trash day was Tuesday. It went to the landfill with everything else.
