TOPIC: 1947 Kingfisher

New to group, I restored a 1947 Kingfisher, same age as owner, never seen internal flotation before, also that was alot of work putting all those rivets in. Live in Tamarack ,MN. Didn't think there were any more Kingfishers out there. Will post pictures later.

Welcome. Glad to see another addition to the group. You'll get tons of info here from experts and some not so expert shade tree guys but it's all good.
We like lots of pictures if you can share. Easy to post pics just drag them into the attachment square but they have to be around 1000 pixels or less otherwise they won't post.

Hi ,Gordy I use to be on here a lot but I have back issues and can not get in or out of a boat anymore . so I am looking at getting a pontoon , oh and by the way I am from Aitkin Mn about 30 miles from you. good luck with your boat project. Greg

I've seen a few of these around, not many though. The fishing museum down in Little Falls has one in their storage area, but it wasn't on display the last time I was down there a few years ago. It'd be nice to see a picture of yours. Here's a copy of the 1947 flyer.
