Here's a name you don't see much in the boating arena.

I remember when they wanted to jump into the waterski family boat market when it was hot. I think I remember them recruiting older slalom record holder... one of the LaPointe brothers. Bob or Chris... or maybe both. I didn’t see any bidders with a few hours to go. Probably a nice boat for the right person considering what any of the new competitor boats cost. Wonder if any Toyota car people could use that 300hp motor in a car? I remember someone using the gm 260hp merCruiser 350ci in a 68 Camaro. Looked cool with the hood open. Lots of torque when cammed for marine use. You should bid if it shows up again.

Ya right. I'd jump right in if I was 50 years younger. Looks like a nice boat and any local Toyota dealer could probably fix the electrical problems. That's right up your alley, cross a few wires and you're good to go.
Right now The StarCraft sits under cover waiting for warm weather. The 140hp Rude just got a fuel pump, carb(s), starter, and impeller rebuild.

That settles it... you are officially too busy to take up professional waterskiing lol. Sounds like the Rude is ready for an early spring start up test. Hope the right person finds that ski boat to save it... I had only seen them in magazines and not in person.
