TOPIC: Boat ID question

Picked this up recently and have no idea what it is but madly in love with it.
Barrel back outboard. May be 1958 from HIN. Someone must know or have a good guess.
Previous owner says Volksboat. I don't think so. Any thoughts out there?

That is one "different" boat. No clue of what it is but I'll bet Bill Anderson knows. He's been silent here for a week, probably on the road again. He'll chime in sometime.

Trace the registration number on the bow and see what it was last registered as.

First day home made that call. State of Arkansas says 1992 Starcraft. Former owner must have had multible boats and mislabeled this one.

1992? More like 1952. I think the former owner had no more idea what it is than you do so he put down anything, knowing the DNR wouldn't know the difference.

The whole situation is probably driving you crazy so, in order to help you out and because I'm such a nice guy, I'm willing to buy it from you...so you'll be worry free! I figure $200 should do it. You deliver. Deal?
