Launched at Red Wing and headed about 45 miles down. Stopped in Wabasha & Alma. Overnighted in island about 5 miles below lock 4. Check this box to be notified of replies to this topic. You are getting down to my territory now. Our family cottage is a mile or so south of Lock 6 on the Minnesota side. I live in La Crosse just south of Lock 7. You are in a beautiful stretch of river. All of the little towns like Alma, Fountain City, and Trempeauleau are great little river towns. I grew up on this stretch of river and there is nothing better!
