Stan Hendrickson created Millennium Fiberglass located near Beloit and Janesville Wisconsin from little more than hard work and determination. It was a thriving and growing business for more that 18 years I knew few people who had his drive and work ethic. As an expert mold maker, he took on projects that no one else would have dared consider.

For quite a few years now Stan has worked tirelessly to see my boat projects through to their completion. Together we have made four Cadillac Sea Larks from a set of 25 piece custom molds he created as well as two 1959 model Glass Slippers using restored original molds and a number of other unique parts including 1958 Glastron hard tops, Gator fender grills and even Lone Star Meteor floor consoles and trunk lids. He worked with a number of outside companies and organizations to do other projects as diverse as street rods, archery targets, and even a mini bathtub for the annual MDA Tub Run in conjunction with the Harley Owners Group.

I had intended to post on my own site tonight that Stan had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and had a dim prognosis. He had planned a goodbye party on Sunday to which he had invited all his friends, the party is still on. Unfortunately, Stan passed away today at his home with his loving wife Sam at his side.

Stan completed his work on The Current Sea Lark featured on my site . The build will continue to be updated in the days to come using a back log of photo's and new ones yet to be taken as the work continues.

It is with great sadness that I must inform the boating community about this tragic loss. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, He was a very rare and unique man and I was very privileged to have known him.

Sorry to hear that Kevin, obviously Stan was a big part of your life and your operation. It's tough to loose a friend like that, leaves a big void. My condolences, and all the best going forward.
Cheers Bill

Sad to hear of a man with so many talents has passed. A tribute would be to show his work in and at as many shows as possible along with a storyboard.
Prayers always go out to those who are no longer with us and part of our community.
