TOPIC: THE JOURNEY IS FINALLY OVER

THE JOURNEY IS FINALLY OVER 5 years 11 months ago #138493

Well it has been a journey but I finally have my 1959 Larson Surfmaster. Back in early Oct I made a deal with Brad (a long time member on FG) to buy his 1959 Surfmaster. After getting Brad paid a friend (Frank) picked it up on Dec 6 and moved it from IN to Phoenix Az. After a long week of waiting I made the trip to Chino Valley Az and picked up my dad for a short turn around trip to Phoenix to picked up the boat. Very happy with my purchase. Want to thank Brad for all the help, parts and the Surfmaster. One cool thing about this hole thing is I knew the boat was in a museum for years but I did not know where or who owned it, until Friday Dec 14 when I was talking to John Monaham about some parts I need and during the conversation I told him about my new purchase and he informed me that the boat I bought was his boat and it was the one he kept in his museum for several years until he sold it a few years back.
