TOPIC: 2018 Fall Glassics Cruise in California

Hello FG members. It’s been a while since I’ve been here. A few days ago, some of us in the Golden State Glassics group went on a long cruise (close to 70 miles) in and around our California Delta. We do this kind of run, we call the Fall Glassics Cruise, typically during October, Fall season. This year was the 12th annual. We have members joining from up and down the state. It’s really awesome. It was an absolutely great day for us California folks who have a passion of owning and using these old cool boats. Anyway, just wanted to share with you here, on Fiberglassics group, the place where it all began for me many years ago. Thanks.

Great video. Also nice calm protected waters to help all enjoy a big outing with those beautiful glassics. Thanks for sharing. Nice variety of Glassic boats. I would think you get a lot of attention when you stop for lunch.

Thanks fellas for your nice comments. Appreciate it. I enjoy putting the video together, and it's still fun to watch. Here's another video a member put together (same cruise). Jerry had just finished putting together his '56 Glasspar Avalon. They are a great couple, Jerry and Lucia., He is a big Glasspar guy too.

63 Sabre, thanks for your comment and fall color pictures. This Fall Glassics Cruise are run usually late October early November. Being in the Central Valley of California, we'll get the Fall colors soon and it will be awesome. We love the fall season here. Maybe we'll go out again when the colors are more prominent.
